Description
Duocel® high temperature furnace spacers elevate your products above the floor of your muffle furnace to allow airflow under the product, including where the foam makes contact. The foam is open cell so it allows airflow through the foam while making contact with minimum surface area on the item(s) being elevated.
Spacer diameter equal to or greater than offset so parts stay stable.
These spacers are made of beta phase silicon carbide to prevent outgassing concerns in vacuum ovens. They are rated for constant use up to 1000°C without deformation, with a maximum working temperature of 1200°C.
Our patented low density foam is strong, yet very low density and thermally insulative which offers significant energy savings over solid materials.
Duocel® refractory furnace spacers are popular for use in high temperature muffle furnaces, ashing furnaces, and heat treatment.
