Duocel refractory furnace trays are made of beta phase silicon carbide and rated for constant use up to 1000C, with a maximum working temperature of 1200C without deformation.

Our patented low density foam is strong, yet very low density and thermally insulative which offers significant energy savings over solid materials; it also making contact with minimum surface area on the item(s) being elevated.

Duocel® refractory furnace products are popular for use in high temperature muffle furnaces, ashing furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, and crucible trays.

The minimal surface area in contact with the material makes our hearth trays an excellent choice for glazing trays for home or hobby ceramists.
